Discord.app Metal Artisans

These artisans were designed and produced at the request of Discord (discordapp.com) following our production of their initial mechanical keyboard. The artisans are milled from aluminum and finished with anodization and pad-printing. Two versions of each keycap were created: OEM Style profile and Cherry Style profile.

To ensure a uniform appearance on the keyboard, I meticulously measured both digitally and physically the plastic versions of these keycaps. Subsequently, I 3D modeled them from scratch, considering each detail and iterating to maintain a snug fit on the keyboard without compromising the switch. Discord designed the icons for each artisan.
